Today, I would like for you to choose a favorite plant.
Things Needed:
1. Paper and some type of writing utensil. If you have a favorite notebook, I suggest you grab it.
2. Gardening books, magazines, and/or the web.
Start the Hunt!
Sift through your collection of materials in order to find your favorite plant. Really take your time with this step, and enjoy the process of looking at beautiful things.
Decision Made!
Now that you have made your selection, I would like for you to write down the following things:
1. What is it that drew you to your plant? Was it the color? The form? Its usefulness?
2. Does it remind you of a favorite garden growing up? Does it remind you of a favorite memory? A person? Expand on this.
3. How does it make you feel? Happy? Calm? Rested? Invigorated?
Take your time with these ideas, and write them out.
